Full Scaffold with Two Working Lifts Around Property in Nazeing, Essex
Location: laundry street Nazeing Essex EN9 2DY
B-MAT Scaffolding was appointed to provide a full perimeter scaffolding solution at a residential property in Nazeing, Essex, enabling safe and efficient access for planned roofing and external works. This project required a carefully designed scaffold structure with multiple working levels to support contractors throughout the duration of the works.
The scaffold was erected as a fully independent structure encompassing the entire property, providing uninterrupted access to all elevations. The first working lift was installed at a lower level to allow general access, inspections, and preparatory works, while a second fully boarded working lift was added approximately 300mm below roof level to support roofing operations and high-level repairs.
All platforms were fully boarded and fitted with appropriate edge protection, including guardrails and toe boards, ensuring operatives could work safely and confidently at height. The scaffold design allowed for efficient movement of materials and personnel around the property, improving productivity while maintaining strict safety standards.
As with all B-MAT Scaffolding installations, this scaffold was erected in full compliance with TG21 guidance and relevant UK health and safety regulations. Our experienced operatives carried out the installation in a controlled and methodical manner, minimising disruption to the occupants and neighbouring properties.
The scaffold layout was planned to accommodate the evolving needs of the project, with the flexibility to adapt the structure if required as works progressed. Regular inspections were scheduled to ensure the scaffold remained safe, stable, and compliant throughout its use.
This project in Nazeing demonstrates B-MAT Scaffolding’s ability to deliver robust, well-planned access solutions for residential properties, combining technical expertise, reliable scheduling, and a strong safety-first ethos. From installation through to dismantling, our team worked closely with the client to ensure the scaffold supported the project efficiently and was removed promptly once works were completed.
