Awkward Access Rear Scaffold for Roofing & Guttering Works in Crouch End, North London
Location: , Nelson Road, Crouch end North London N8 9RN
B-MAT Scaffolding was instructed to provide an awkward-access rear elevation scaffold at a residential property in Crouch End, North London, as part of an ongoing local authority repair and maintenance contract. The scaffold was required to allow safe access for roofing and guttering works to the rear of the property, where access was severely restricted.
Due to the limited access routes and confined working area, a pre-installation site visit was arranged to assess the safest and most practical method for delivering materials to the rear of the property. This planning stage was essential to identify suitable access routes while ensuring minimal disruption to residents and neighbouring properties.
Following the site assessment, a tailored scaffold solution was designed and erected to provide stable, fully boarded working platforms at the required heights. The scaffold enabled contractors to carry out roofing inspections, repairs, and guttering works safely, without reliance on ladders or unsafe temporary access methods.
