The key requirement for this project was to enable specialist contractors to work safely at height while allowing vehicle traffic to continue flowing below without obstruction. This required careful planning, precise scaffold positioning and strict adherence to safety controls.

The project involved multiple areas of the school site and required careful planning to meet a tight programme while ensuring the safety of pupils, staff and visitors at all times.

Due to the nature of the works and the live school environment, the schedule was critical. Our team coordinated closely with the client to erect the TG21-compliant scaffolding during the first week of the 2025 summer holidays, when the majority of pupils and staff were off site. This approach reduced disruption to day-to-day school operations while still allowing our operatives and the concrete repair contractors sufficient time to complete the works.

We were instructed to provide a specialist access solution in Pimlico, Central London, supplying a fully boarded front elevation scaffold with a dedicated roof-level walkway to support abseiling works on a central London property. Due to the nature of the works and the busy urban environment, this project required careful planning, strict safety controls, and full compliance with all relevant scaffolding regulations.

The scaffold was designed to provide safe and secure access for rope access contractors while maintaining protection for the public and building occupants below. Our experienced team erected a TG21 compliant independent scaffold to the full front elevation, incorporating a fully boarded working platform and a robust walkway system at roof level to allow abseilers to operate safely and efficiently.

B-MAT Scaffolding was instructed to provide scaffolding for a property extension in Hertford, Hertfordshire, working once again for a valued regular client. This project required a flexible, phased access solution to support multiple stages of the build.

The scaffold was designed and erected as a TG20:21 compliant system with two fully boarded working platforms, allowing different trades to operate safely and efficiently as the extension progresses.

B-MAT Scaffolding was appointed to provide a full perimeter scaffolding solution at a residential property in Nazeing, Essex, enabling safe and efficient access for planned roofing and external works. This project required a carefully designed scaffold structure with multiple working levels to support contractors throughout the duration of the works.

The scaffold was erected as a fully independent structure encompassing the entire property, providing uninterrupted access to all elevations. The first working lift was installed at a lower level to allow general access, inspections, and preparatory works, while a second fully boarded working lift was added approximately 300mm below roof level to support roofing operations and high-level repairs.
