“Matt and his team were affordable, professional and efficient and sorted exactly what I needed quickly with no issues”
Domestic
Scaffolding for houses is not just small commercial scaffolding
A house has a garden, a conservatory, a drive, a bin store and neighbours three metres away. Getting a scaffold up without wrecking any of that is most of the skill.
We plan domestic scaffolds around gardens, driveways, neighbouring properties and public footpaths, so you get safe access without unnecessary obstruction. Guard rails, toe boards and secure access points go in as standard, which protects the trades and your household while the work is on.
Every residential scaffold is erected by CISRS-qualified scaffolders and inspected before use and at regular intervals after. We carry full public liability insurance and all our work is guaranteed.

Straight answers
What it costs, and why we will not guess
Two houses on the same street can need completely different scaffolds. The ground, the access, the conservatory in the way, whether any of it lands on the pavement — all of it changes the price.
So we come out and look, for free, and then put a written quotation in your hand with the hire period and everything included set out plainly. Up to 8 weeks free hire time on the initial period, subject to terms. If the job overruns, tell us and we extend it rather than leaving you stuck with a half-finished roof.

FAQs
Residential scaffolding questions
We look at that on the site visit and design around it. Most domestic scaffolds can be arranged to keep a drive usable, and where the scaffold has to cross a path or a shared entrance we will tell you before we quote rather than on the morning it goes up.
If any part of the scaffold has to stand on their land, or oversail it, then yes — you need their agreement, and it is much easier asked early and politely. If the scaffold sits entirely on your land you do not, though it is still worth telling them it is coming.
It is worth thinking about, particularly on a rear elevation. We can fit alarms to a scaffold, and we have done exactly that on domestic jobs. Ladders are also removed or secured at the end of each day so the scaffold cannot simply be walked up. Mention it at the site visit and we will price it in.
Very little, and we clear up after ourselves. Sole boards go down to protect the ground, we avoid driving over lawns and beds where we can, and everything we bring goes away with us when the scaffold comes down. Our customers mention this in their reviews more than anything else.
